What Will You Learn during your Piano Lessons?

We will primarily Develop Piano Skills by learning to Read and Write Music.  Additionally, there will be a strong focus on Music Theory. Moreover, you will play Repertoire from Different Genres.

Lastly, we will use Interactive Games to keep younger children’s attention. In addition to developing skill at the piano, students will gain an understanding of music theory and be encouraged to create their own music.  Therefore, the Curriculum will consist of learning various pieces, sight-reading, ear training, theory and composition exercises.

It's never too late to start Piano Lessons

For Children 5-7

Music lessons in early childhood lead to changes in the brain that could improve its performance far into adulthood, researchers say.
Beginning your musical education at a young age can benefit your child in the future. Research also shows that learning the do-re-mis can help children excel in ways beyond the basic ABCs.

For Children 8-12

Besides learning how to play a musical instrument or taking voice and singing lessons, I will also help your child appreciate and understand music.
Studying music can develop into an enjoyable lifelong hobby. Most children love to listen to music, dance and sing. Children often imitate sound or play music using a toy instrument.

For Teens 13-17

Being a teen can be difficult. Research suggests the benefits of music lessons last beyond when you’re just having that instruction. Processing, relationships, math, science, language acquisition...
– all these things are supported and enhanced in children who learn to play music. Music is made up of math, history and language. It taps into pretty much any academic area and developmental area.

For Adults

You’re not a kid anymore, but you’ve always wanted to learn music. Maybe you had piano lessons that you regret quitting as a kid, or...
maybe you’ve always wanted to learn to sing. Is it too late? You can learn to play or sing really well no matter what age you are. I wish I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard, “My mother let me quit piano, and now I wish I could play.”

Very good teacher, you really can learn something from the lesson, not just "have fun", I don't mean he never laugh, I mean he would never wast your money or your time. My son and daughter both love him!
Mr.Bill is awesome! I have already seen an improvement in my kids' piano playing. Every lesson is purposeful, and he is very organized! Great piano teacher!

...and even more Piano Lesson Reviews:

Bill has taught private piano lessons to our 11 year old daughter going on her 2nd year. He is very professional and dedicated to his students. She responds well to Bill's soft and patient disposition, and has become very comfortable working with him. Bill always takes the time to talk with our daughter about her homework exercises and correct as necessary. He incorporates monthly activities to make the lessons fun and relevant for our daughter. Bill has been a wonderful fit for our daughter and we would recommend him to anyone seeking piano lessons.
Bill is an excellent piano instructor, very patient and professional. I came to Bill nine months ago, a 62 year old man with no previous music background. All I knew was that I love listening to piano music and wanted to be able to play it for myself and others. When I asked Bill if an older guy could still learn piano and would he be willing to teach me, he responded definitely! Bill started with a blank slate, all I brought to the table was a sincere desire to learn and a commitment to practice. Now nine months later I am amazed at how much I have learned. I’m able to read notes, play scales, chords, and a few simple tunes. I know I have a long way to go but I’m excited about the future. Thanks Bill.
